HOW I LANDED 2 BRAND DEALS, GAINED 10K VIEWS ON PINTEREST, AND INCREASED MY INSTAGRAM VIEWS BY 20%
If you all remember, a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to collaborate with LadyBossBlogger. In my first blog post, I primarily wrote about the online course and what it has to offer.
I pointed out the most important highlights from both the course and the founder. Fast forward 2 weeks later… I want to update you on a few things and what I have put into practice and the winner of the giveaway!
HOW CAN THIS COURSE HELP YOU?
After taking the course, I have been able to manage my time more responsibly. My blogging career has just begun and it happens to be during these difficult times (global pandemic). It has not been the easiest to complete my work, being a home school teacher, a housekeeper, and a breakfast chef!
In order to meet deadlines, I have designated a time for myself to complete my deliverables and blog posts. I plan my days in advance and have a schedule. It is not easy to work from home and for yourself…you must be your own boss!!
BENEFITS FROM COURSE
There are many ways to approach brands and this course teaches you how to use your words wisely. But, I have to say the most important lesson I have learned has been to work on my email list on my blog.
I had no idea how important it was to start building this list. So many times you see bloggers have to start from scratch because their accounts were hacked into or simply disabled by social media.
If anything stuck to me, it’s that you don’t own that content on your pretty Instagram page, Instagram does. But, you do own your own website. So in building your followers, having them subscribe to your email list is essential to maintain contact if something like that were to ever happen.
RESULTS
Starting with Pinterest, my monthly views have skyrocketed to over 10k in just 2 weeks. Something else I learned, Pinterest drives traffic to your blog so it is imperative to keep up with this app as well.
Next is Instagram. My profile visits have gone up by 20% in just 2 weeks. It’s very great to have a nice grid but this needs to be profitable in order to sustain a business that can generate income.
Affiliate marketing is a huge strategy in this business and I have been able to work with Active Wow as an affiliate as well as 123 Presets.

The course is taught by Elaine Rau, the founder of LadyBossBlogger, who is an experienced blogger turned entrepreneur. Having this course as a resource has made me see things in a different light. I am so glad I was able to complete it and can tell you that it’s worth it for all the insight you will gain.
